NOTICE OF SALE OF PROPERTY AND
REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS

The City of Clyde, Texas is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of the following properties located in Clyde, Callahan County, Texas:
• 121 S 3rd Street – Lot 7-12, Block 37, Railroad Subdivision. o - Minimum Bid: $127,000.
• 123 S 4th Street – Lot 10-12, Block 1, Shanks Subdivision - o Minimum Bid: $46,000.
• 3550 CR 275, Tract 1 – 40 acres out of a 172.500 acre tract of land, Abstract 88, Section 77 BBB&C. o Minimum Bid: $350,000
• 3550 CR 275, Tract 2 – 90 acres out of a 172.500 acre tract of land, Abstract 88, Section 77 BBB&C - o Minimum Bid: $573,000
Persons interested in bidding on these properties are strongly encouraged to physically inspect the properties before submitting a bid. These properties will be sold “AS IS”, including debris that may be located at the property.  The properties will be conveyed by Deed without Warranty except for 123 S. 4th Street which will be conveyed via Quitclaim Deed.  Any questions regarding these properties may be directed to Rodger Brown, City Administrator, who can be reached at (325) 893-4234.
Sealed bids, in an amount equal to or greater than the minimum bid as listed above, shall be delivered to City Hall located at 222 Oak Steet, Clyde, Texas, 79510 and labeled with the words “Sealed Bid for City Property” and the address of the property for which the bid is submitted. Bids should explicitly indicate whether the offer is a cash offer. All sealed bids must be received by March 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Bids received after this date and time will not be considered. Bids will be opened and read aloud by the City Secretary or designee at City Hall on March 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The City Council will consider bids at the regular meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on March 10, 2026 at City Hall. The City Council reserves the right to accept the bid in the best interest of the City, and to that end, the City Council shall have the right to accept or reject any and all bids regarding the sale of these properties.
